New Arena out now
The new issue of Arena is now on sale in a newsagent near you, and even the grumpiest members of staff are really quite pleased with it. As well as an exclusive interview with Daniel Craig, who’s exploring a troubled youth in his new film, we reveal what it’s like to fall in love with a contract killer (clue: FARC-ing awful). Chomsky-bashing journalist Nick Cohen interviews Islam-bashing novelist Martin Amis and gives a fascinating insight into a man who refuses to “watch my words like a politician” and regular contributor William Leith goes along to the Scrap Club, an event where you can take out some of your rage and frustrations on innocent inanimate objects.

Our fashion team managed to find the time to produce a huge new-season style special before jetting off to Paris and Milan to drink champagne/hang out with all their friends/feel smug about being in the front row at the shows, and of course there are plenty of suggestions as to the most up-to-the-minute food (fondue), art (the affordable art fair), car (BMW SAV) and even underwear you should be getting into.
Can you afford to be without it?
