the beeping out was ridiculous - it’s as if a cursory BBC check post interview on the beeped names revealed the agent’s story to be a load of rubbish, and the only people they could find anything vaguely sticky on was Allardyce and Redknapp.
Why nothing on the super agents, the Jonathan Barnetts, the really big clubs? Are they really cleaner than clean?
They are so profound about the fact that they uncovered all these bung conspiracies, yet do not want to cooperate with the FA who are proactively trying to solve the bung crisis. Questions whether their findings are credible or not.
Can understand why they would produce this panorama special, as the rest of BBC’s sports programming is like watching paint dry.
The fact that it was the BBC running the “sting” rendered it useless from day one.
Without access to banking details they could never prove any allegation made on tape. If the bleeped names WERE Wenger, Fergie and Souness (please) then there would be no way the BBC would jeapordise access to those clubs and their players. It is not written in stone that interviews be given.
Nevermind the fact that I got rather over-excited at the thought of Big Sam never working in the football industry again, the “investigation” did little more than expose agents as pig thick egotistical bottom feeders.

At least Big Sam knows that for sure now.
